Description:
The Survivor Pass: Payback was the battle pass for Season 8 of Playerunknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), released in July 2020. This DLC was a premium, time-limited upgrade that unlocked a separate reward track, giving players a chance to earn a massive amount of cosmetic items and other rewards by completing missions and leveling up.
The pass was themed around the Sanhok Remastered map, with many of the rewards tying into the jungle and its backstory. The Payback Pass included a variety of exclusive items, such as:

Nearly 100 new skins, including a mix of jungle-themed gear, rugged military outfits, and sci-fi inspired gear.

In addition to the rewards, the pass introduced new missions and an increased XP gain system that was proportional to a player's survival time in a match, encouraging a more cautious and tactical playstyle. While the free version of the pass offered a few rewards, the DLC was required to access the full premium track. The Survivor Pass system has since been updated and changed in later seasons, but the Payback DLC was a defining part of Season 8 for dedicated players.
